Dean's number one tip for picking the right agent to do your short sale? Interview more than one agent. Which agent shows you what they are going to do and shows you the system they use to get your short sale done?

Also never consider doing a short sale without talking to a lawyer. If an agent does not strongly suggest you talk to a lawyer and give you a few resources to contact then avoid that agent, all they are after is a commission check.

The East Valley Team has talked more than one home seller out of doing a short sale because after talking to lawyers they decided that a short sale was in their best interest.
